Spring and Summer are just around the corner…and that means a lot of different things to each and every one of us.  As we shake off the dust from a long winter, it’s time to start making plans for the Annual ASHRAE Golf Outing.  This year’s even is scheduled for Monday, June 9th.  If you haven’t played this outing in the last few years, try and find some time in your schedule for a great day with your peers. For those who played last year, thank you… we look forward to your attendance again this summer…and if you can encourage others to attend in ’08….even better.

As you may know, our chapter uses this event to raise money for ASHRAE Research Promotion. The committee would like to thank all the Participants, Sponsors, and Door Prize Donors for making last year’s outing a success.  Sponsorships and Door Prizes are a very important part of making the event a success.  Please consider Sponsorship or donations for Door Prizes to help make another successful outing.

Golf will begin with an 11:00 AM shotgun start (registration 9:00 – 10:30 am) at Mystic Creek Golf Club on GM Drive, west of Milford in Camp Dearborn.  Mystic Creek is a beautiful 27 hole facility with three championship courses, The Lakes, The Woods and The Meadows.  We have limited the number of golfers to two foursomes per hole to insure a First Class experience, not a long day. As such, prompt Registration and Payment is encouraged!
Registration forms are included on page 10 of this newsletter and can be Faxed or Mailed to Johnson Controls, or emailed via the www.detroitashrae.org website.  All payments need to be submitted and received within (7) business days to hold your reservation.  Non-payment within this time frame will cause your reservation to be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.  Due to additional cost incurred in previous years, registration, payment and team players names are required two (2) weeks prior to the event.  Any payment or registration received after June 1, 2008 may not be accepted.
